Nolan nodded. "I guess you can say that."
He had met Jeremy at Ethan's place and learned that Jeremy's plan was Ethan's suggestion. Hence, in a way,
Ethan was also responsible for what happened to Stephen.
The psychologist looked troubled.
"What's wrong?" Simon asked, his brows furrowed.
The psychologist looked confident when he arrived, but now he seemed hesitant, like he had something to say
but was holding back.
"Sigh." The psychologist sighed and got up.
He explained, "I'm sorry, but there's nothing | can do."
Ethan's nwas known not only to him but his entire profession.
Three years ago, patients affected by Ethan started to pop up like a virus in the psychology field. Despite
multiple attempts, the patients could not be saved and tragically took their own life. Worse yet, several
psychologists were also affected, and it took a team of psychologists to save them from further influence.
Since then, Ethan's nhad bectaboo among them. No one wanted to take the risk, not only failing to

"What? Who do you mean you can't help?" Simon asked nervously.
"I'm not qualified," the psychologist provided a succinct answer.
Simon asked, "Aren't you the best in Riveria?"
"You're not wrong, but I'm not almighty. You should start looking for someone else."
He wanted to help. After all, Stephen was the person running Riveria at the moment. If he could treat Stephen,
he could live the rest of his life without worries. However, the problem was Ethan. Even if he wanted to help, he
could not do so.
With that, the psychologist got up and made his way to the door. Angry, Simon's jaw tightened.
"Wait! Is there nothing else you can do?" Nolan asked.
The psychologist stayed quiet for a moment before saying, "I can't do anything, but it doesn't mean there's no
way. | know a psychologist who takes a more unconventional approach. He has a famous background, and
maybe he can do something about Stephen's situation."
Nolan asked anxiously, "Who is he?"
The psychologist handed Nolan a business card.
"His nis Austin Chiswick, the best protege of Dr. Ganter Steel."
Simon and Nolan were unfamiliar with the field, so they did not know who Dr. Steel was. However, seeing a
glimmer of hope, Nolan quickly thanked the psychologist.
"Thank you. I'll tell my men to see you out."
Nolan got his men to see the psychologist out.
Then, he went back to Nolan with the business card and said, "Sir, what should we do?"
Simon took the piece of paper and looked at it. "Let's just give it a try."
Seeing Stephen like that broke his heart. His son, who used to be confident and full of life, sat there, empty, like
a lifeless husk.
He pulled his phone out and gave Austin a call. The call got through immediately.
"Yes?" a man's voice said.
"Hello, I'm Simon Quinn."
Simon revealed his nimmediately, and it successfully captured Austin's attention. Austin never thought a
prominent figure would contact him.
He took a deep breath to calm himself and said, "Yes. What can | do for you?"

him?"
Austin quickly said, "Yes! Yes! Where are you? I'll be right there."
Simon provided the address.
Austin was surprised. "I'm in another state. I'll book an air ticket right away, and |
think | can meet you in the afternoon. Please wait for me."
After the call, he immediately bought his plane ticket.
