Chapter 466
Nolan finally understood why his father, who had control over everything, down to the meticulous detail, looked
afraid every tEthan was mentioned. His father had even warned him repeatedly not to mess with Ethan.
Offending Ethan might seem like offending just one man, but in reality, he might be going against all of Riveria
and maybe even sforces beyond the borders. Sweat trickled down Nolan's face as he struggled to get up
from the floor.
"Lord Rivers, I'm terribly sorry!" Nolan looked down, his tone shaky yet laced with desperation. "I might have
raised my voice earlier. Please forgive me."
He was truly terrified now. However, Ethan did not even glance at Nolan. Instead, his attention turned to Jeremy.
"You've died once. If you're given the chance to do things all over again, what would you choose?"
Jeremy looked confused. "What choice do | have?"
"First, you can stay in Riveria or return to the capital. If you don't like this place, go to another country and live a
normal life that is rightfully yours.
"Second, you could go to Stephen and work for him again. Third, you could join the Spencers. Fourth, you could
join the South Regent. Fifth, help Andy."
Before Jeremy could explain, the South Regent quickly said, "It's easy! Join me! You're talented, and if you join

Jeremy looked at Ethan. "Can't | stay by your side?"
"No. This place is too small for you," Ethan replied indifferently.
Everyone was at a loss for words. The mansion was more than a few hundred meters square feet, equipped with
a spacious front yard. How could it be 'small'?
Jeremy's disappointment was clear, but he did not have a choice.
He then asked the South Regent, "Will you cafter Riveria?"
The South Regent was rendered speechless for a moment. His ambition had always been to take over Riveria, so
he did not have an answer to Jeremy's question.
Jeremy knew he was left with two options: live a normal life or help Andy. Going back to Stephen was out of the
question because he had lost all hope for Stephen. As for

joining the Spencers, he would never, especially after he died once trying to expose them.
Jeremy looked at Andy. "What do you need my help with?"
Andy was deeply moved. He had heard about Jeremy before and had great respect for the man. If Jeremy could
help, he would make his efforts to bring stability to the region far more effective.
When Andy told Jeremy his vision and explained the mission, Jeremy's eyes sparked with a renewed sense of
purpose. At that moment, he knew what the right choice was, so he went over to Andy and extended his hand.
Andy could not hide his excitement as he shook Jeremy's. He had finally gotten himself a partner!
The South Regent watched with a twinge of regret but managed to maintain his composure. "Congratulations,
Andy."
Andy was grinning from ear to ear. "Thank you."
Looking at the phone on the table, Ethan said, "What are you going to do about the evidence on your phone?"
Nolan's heart pounded, his back straightened, and he started to sweat profusely. Jeremy's answer could
determine his fate.
"Lord Rivers, | would like to leave the evidence to you," Jeremy said.
It was a decision he had made a long tago.
Nolan, on the other hand, was devastated. Once again, Ethan had criminal evidence of the Spencers.
"I don't need it. The South Regent has helped you a lot recently. Why not give it to him?" Ethan asked.
With that, he pushed the phone to the South Regent.

The South Regent's face lit up with delight as he grabbed the phone and turned toward Nolan with a smug grin.
Nolan was terrified. The wider the grin on the South Regent's face, the more afraid

"Thank you, Lord Rivers! Hahaha!" the South Regent said, unable to hide his glee.

He then turned to Nolan with a wide grin and said, "You were pretty bold with your
threats earlier. Well, guess what? Now I've got the upper hand."
Nolan gulped nervously. "W-What do you want?"
"I'm going to reclaim everything I lost in Hill City!"
Be it his men or his companies, he wanted everything back.
