The place where Mariel's accident happened is not that far from Strakovski Jewelry.
When Reese arrived at the place, the ambulance they called hadn't arrived yet. Mariel silently supported her
waist and stood beside the car with an angry little face.
She glanced at Reese and said in a muffled voice, "You can wait withhere; the ambulance hasn't arrived
yet!"
Looking at her situation, Reese couldn't help frowning, "What happened to you?"
Mariel pursed her mouth and still said in a muffled voice, "Twisted my waist, sprained my ankle!"
Reese felt a little embarrassed: "Then there's no need to call an ambulance!"
Hearing this, Mariel choked on her saliva. She still felt a little angry and said in a low voice, "I'm a bit popular!"
As she spoke, she narrated to Reese how vicious Anthony was and how he took advantage of her: "You did not
see how hateful that man is. If | will see him again in the future, | will beat him up until his parents are dead. Let
see!"

Reese felt a little helpless, "Maybe he really is a doctor. He is not stupid. Even if he wants to take advantage of
you, he won't do anything in public!"
As soon as Reese finished speaking, the driver on the side wall nodded quickly. "That gentleman is indeed very
nice. He had urgent matters that's why he left in a hurry, otherwise, he would definitely accompany this lady to
the hospital!"
Reese glared at Mariel angrily, "Don't be petty!"
Mariel silently puffed up her cheeks, feeling uncomfortable. After all, she was hurt by Anthony from head to toe.
In the end, the ambulance still came, and Reese followed Mariel into the ambulance. The taxi driver was left
behind because he needed to deal with the damage to the car and waited for the people from the repair shop to
come.
Even in the ambulance, Mariel keeps on complaining about Anthony: "You know what? He even said that |
blackmailed people even though I looked rich. If my car was broken, | shouldn't ask people for compensation.
Who the hell is he? Arggg!" Reese laughed, "Hearing you complain like this, I'm getting eager to meet him. And
see how bad is this person for you to complain like this!"
From what the taxi driver said, that person shouldn't be as bad as what Mariel describe him.
Mariel anxiously wanted to sit up and refute, but in the end, she pulled her sprained waist again, and she grinned
in pain.
She gritted her teeth, "I'm not complaining, I'm telling the truth! He was so good- looking that | was blinded by it
for a moment! If not for that face he'd really be a good for nothing!"
Reese glanced at her, dumbfounded.
She didn't speak and just stared at Mariel lying on the stretcher. No one knows what she was thinking of, and the
smile on her face faded.
Mariel's eyes flickered: "Lia, are you okay?"
Reese thought of the scene earlier when she met Rose in the company just now and shook her head sullenly: "No
I'm fine!"
Seeing Reese's dazed expression just now, Mariel didn't dare to say anything
more.

When they arrived at the hospital, Reese found a wheelchair for Mariel and took her to the orthopedic doctor.
On their way to the hospital, Mariel was told off by the doctor in the ambulance for making a fuss since her
injury's was not that serious
Mariel knew very well that she had made a fuss because of her childish temper. When the doctor taught her a
lesson, she just lay there cowardly without saying a word.
When they arrived at the orthopedics department, Reese saw Anthony's signature. Unexpectedly, he was
actually attending the clinic today.
Anthony is a Cardiac Surgeon, and he also majored in Orthopedics, but he usually stays at the Cardiac Surgery
Department. Reese was a little surprised when she saw the information.
Reese was surprised to know that Anthony was working here. And she told Mariel that her attending doctor was
her friend.
The nurse asked them to wait in the outpatient room, "Please wait a moment, Doctor Rivers will be here soon!"
Mariel silently glanced at Reese, gossiping: "Is this doctor really handsome? He must be an old man! Are you still
friends with him?"
Reese glanced at her angrily, "You're thinking too much, he's very young, in his twenties, and he is also very
handsome! He's very adept in the field of medicine!"
